Seller & Acquired by: GT
Hello & Aloha, My apologies to all for late and slow response to your comments. I caught the flu virus on April 5th while taking care my little nephew, and still recovering .
To Kathy You may have already sold your vintage Craftsman band saw 102.01121, 12", 1939 already, if not recent comments from Eben , may be your contact. To Eben, you have and exciting road ahead of you, and I wish you all the best on your restoration. Ben your web site is such a wonderful place , a home away from home. My search began with someone giving away a Craftsman band saw 102.01121.On CL and we have had a great response to this vintage band saw search for MFR Date.
Again to you Ben and all who have read or commented. Thank you much & Aloha, GT

Craftsman Bandsaw model # 102.01121 circa 1939 by: GT
A special belated thank you to Band saw owner responder:
It is from the 1930's wow! I goggled the model number and found a few owners of this type of band saw. It is too bad I was not able to get this freebee, oh well I got my answer so again thank you.
I am always amazed at the age of all these old working tools still around, and its owners pride to keep them alive and well kept or trying to revive them.
Ben, again thanks to you and a great web site,
I have my answer; I will try to check in more often.
Much Mahalo and Aloha,
GT

Just bought an old Sears Bandsaw too. by: Anonymous
Model #102.01160. 16" throat and 12" cutting height (that's why I bought it). Thing has to weigh 400+ lbs. Took 3 men and a skidsteer to get it into my truck. Will use my front end loader to get it out.
Has a GE 1/3HP motor which I expect to upgrade. It is missing the covers which I expect will be impossible to find so I'll have to make some. Has ball bearing blade guides. Everything seems to turn smoothly but it couldn't cut the 11" thick piece of hard maple I brought for testing. Could be the fine tooth blade or the 1/3HP motor.
Will post a pic once I get it on the floor.
