Nice photograph of that Delta/Rockwell Model 30-C radial saw - is it yours, and is that it's original paint? I have been researching these recently and discovered that they really were designed to be portable - strange but true. Take a look at page 64 of Delta's 1957 AB-57 catalog and you'll see a picture of it with it's standard wooden carrying handles (the metal legs were an option). If you scroll back up to page 59 and look at the photo on the bottom row, center left, you'll see a picture of two men carrying that 30-C through a standard sized door opening into a house under construction (photo marked 'Home Builder'). I've been told that these 'smaller' radial saws were the 1950's version of our modern electric miter (cut-off) saws. Take care and I hope this helps, Mike
