10 inch tilting arbor table saw

by Louis Stans
(Nashville, TN)

This saw was purchased on Long Island, NY in the late 1940's by my grandfather. He was a European trained cabinet maker and the machine was very well maintained. I still have two original "Driver" blades that he was able to sharpen by hand.

My biggest concern is the electrical insulation in the motor after all these years and procedures for lubricating motor and arbor bearings. I do not have any manuals for this machine - are any available?

I also have a 6" planer/jointer of the same vintage also purchased by my grandfather and in showroom condition. Same concerns as with the saw and would also like to get any available manuals for it. Both machines run perfectly and do excellent work.
