by Ronnie Loving

This is some sort of chop, cutoff or miter saw that can be turned and has gauge for angles. It still works. motor runs. not sure how much is original of how much is missing. has wheel for raising and lowering that you can just barely see at top of picture.used it a little but does not have blade guard. scary. not really sure about the model no. does anyone know year model and worth. thanks.

craftsman swing saw

Have same saw with same model no. Was used in the early 50"s as a trim saw with a portable saw mill. Now have a 10" compound miter saw and not sure what to do with the old saw.

craftman cut off saw
by: Carl

I have one just life it. It has belt guard & saw blade guard. I believe everything is original on mine except mine doesn't have a motor. We had bought it about 3o yrs ago from a company that built trusses. Don't know what it is worth & I feel like it was made in the 30's or 40's. Not sure what it is called but we call it a swing arm cut off saw.

Swing arm saw
by: Anonymous

This is the original radial arm saw more commonly called a swing arm saw . I have two of these, and I'm not brave enough to rip stock on either one of them but they are awesome for crosscutting, I have a 12" blade on mine and it will handle anything you can fit underneath the guard. I have one from the 50's and the 429-24390 looks like an older, "cruder" model than the first.

have the same one
by: Mike

I have the same one in great shape and the original motor. Not sure what it is, how old or what it may be worth? Have you found out anything about yours? Sure is a scary thing to run. Had someone look at it and called it a swing saw
