Gentlemen, I have a hand saw which was given to me by a friend. It is a Sears Craftsman no. 9-36171. Additionally, it states on the blade "Sears four star value". At the bottom of the logo information it says "Simpson-Sears Ltd. Pat. 606577. It has a nail cutter incorporated into the upper edge of the tip of the blade, and there is a, (now faded) measuring scale running the remainder of the upper edge of the blade. The handle is of laminated wood, making me think it is not especially old, but I would like to know its "pedigree" if possible.
Thanks for any information you might be able to provide.
