Motor
by: Leo

About 10 years I inherited this saw from a friend who had not used it in years. He said it did not work. Turned out all it needed was a pulley and a belt.. I've used it many times including trim work during a bathroom renovation about 6 years ago. Worked great. Don't make them like this any longer.

Today I took the motor to be rewired. The toggle switch quit working and when I went inside, all the cloth covering on the wires was shot. I plan to rewire it bypassing the toggle switch and put an easier to reach, safer method in place.

I do hope this motor can be fixed, keeping the saw as original as possible. I'm sure no exact replacement motor is available.

Craftsman table saw Model 101.02141
by: Mark Roberts

We just got a Craftsman table saw model 101.02141 donated to the schools Skills USA club. We do not have a manual but I have checked it out and everything for the most part is there and in good working order. We are looking to fine someone who is a collector or who would want this saw as it is not something we need in the student shop. The patent on this saw is 1938.
