Delta/Milwauki Homecraft tools on stand with jackshaft

by David Kettler
(Austin, Texas)

I acquired this Homecraft workshop in 1984 from a client. She thought her family had owned it since at least the 1940,s. It has a bandsaw, lathe, 4' jointer and a tilt-table saw. They are on a stand with a jackshaft that looks like all Rockwell stand legs I have seen. The table base is made of solid Pine or Fir about 1 1/4" thick. All tools have a Delta Milwauki Homecraft label. There is an additional Rockwell label on the bandsaw with a serial number. I have used all of the tools except for the bandsaw which needs some adjustments. I have not been able to find any definitive information on this workshop and would like any information I can get.
