Aug 19, 2011 Rating Honing Toll by: Anonymous Can't tell without more imges from different angles but if the tool rotates it's probably a wood lathe gouge sharpening tool. It holds the gouge at the correct angle while allowing rotation while sharpening on a stone.

Apr 23, 2009 Rating What is it? by: Bruce I am the owner of this jig but can find no information on exactly what it is or what it would be worth if I decided to sell it. It has 3 brass screws for multiple adjustment. I acquired this in an estate sale and the chisel was in it as pictured. I assume that it is a guide for sharpening chisels. There are no markings on it at all. Thanks for any input, Bruce
