Mystery Hand Tool... Need Help

Mystery Hand Tool... Need Help

Found in an old Maine barn laying next to a vintage farrier's horse tooth rasp. Hand forged iron... 23+" long... wooden grip... flattened end is turned up slightly... no manufacturer's marks (I expect it was home made).

Can someone help me out here? Does it have any value?

Looks something like a modern tire iron. Maybe an older version. I'm not able to see detail of configuration well. Look one up, maybe J.C. Whitney and see what you think.

Wondering if it might have been for working on iron clad wagon wheels, or early auto tires?
