Rockwell 1460 Wood Lathe

hello , i live in a very small town in eastern washigton . our school has 1 old wood lathe that has'nt worked in most likely 20 years . i would like to find parts to fix it & make it usable for the kids. as far as i know it needs a whole new oldstyle tailstock . but what is wrong is, it needs new quill and threaded rod, so you can release the bit , & it needs new spring in the hold down handle section . i found one for a 1460 ,a whole tailstock for 11 inch lathe , our's is 12 inch , do you know if it will work ? our quill has the keyway and a keyway on the handle part too . i belive it is a 1961 year machine . some # are 434 02 651 5001 , & pm 1532 the quill is part # cbl 416 r , with 3/16 sq x 2. any info would be helpful . they're are only about 10 kids in ouir graduating class , but it be nice to have a usable lathe to learn on .. thank you.. a concerned parent, in the lind school distict... gerry
