Tilting Table Table Saw
Help me ID this craftsman table saw. There is no data plate on the unit.
I am not a vintage tool collector and know little about this unit. I Googled and as far as I can tell it is a 1930's era Craftsman table saw.
Looks like professional models I found on Google with the precision hand crank adjustments. No model number is stamped on the unit but is cast with "patent applied for".
A testimony of workmanship is that I regularly used it up until about two months ago.
Originally came with 7" blade but supports up to 9". "Floating Drive" uses weight of the motor as the belt tensioner - the motor is single pivot mounted on the bench behind the saw to give easy tilting and low vibration.
email me at solomiata@aol.com if you have any info.
