Walker Turner Drill press Ser.No. 51 M2C

I was given then bench top drill press by a friend who acquired it from the estate of a tool and dye maker. It works perfectly and is in good condition. Can anyone tell me if the serial number indicates it was built in 1951??? I am also interested in the market value. Any help?
