May 12, 2010 Bandsaw motor by: Anonymous Try Grizzly they have several motors for equipment and I found their prices were better than most. Just replaced a shaper motor and they were about $80.00 cheaper.

May 05, 2010 Quick Fix by: OldFox My motor went out, just like yours, years ago. I replaced it with a 110-volt, 1350 rpm, 1/2-horse, sealed motor from a junked water pump. It has been working, day-in and day-out for about 15 years. Cost 10 bucks at the time.

Nov 13, 2009 12 bandsaw motor by: leo I have one doing the same thing. I found the bushing in the front of the motor bad. The trick is getting parts. I can order them. I just get mine in and will try to get it together this week end
