Barton 1832 Rochester Draw Knife

Found this drawknife in a MN pawnshop. Blade is 9", wooden handles have metal caps on tops and bottoms, tangs are peened over on the bottom caps, stamp above the blade is an oval with the markings Barton 1832 Rochester. Does not have DR or NY on the stamp. Does anybody have an idea when it was made? Thank you.
