I have a Craftsman 113 Table Saw with both cast iron wings and the micro adjustable rip fence. Runs great after 50 years!

Model 113.27520 table saw
by: Mike M.

I bought mine from a guy who was selling off his dad's estate. It was kept in a basement and I had to clean some rust off the top and buy a new v-belt.
But, the original motor is great! The table is solid and has both table extensions, the rip fence, and the t-bar. No blade guard or rife knife so I am looking for an add-on unless I could somehow get an original blade guard. On-off switch is on the motor, which is a bit of a safety hazard, it wold be nice to put a switch in the front. Very nice tool.

manual and splitter
by: ron

I picked up this model for parts and decided to keep it as a second tbl saw.

The manual is available as a pdf download for free
11327520_operating_instructions.pdf

The blade guard includes a splitter, if this is missing you can fabricate your own with a piece of aluminum plate and a jig saw to shape it.

The pdf has diagrams showing the blade guard and all its parts.

I haven't found a source to replace the blade guard as a unit and my saw blade guard is different than the parts diagram shows. The product was made between 1950 and 1960 by emerson and may have several models of the blade guard distributed across the 10 years.

The manual tells you how to adjust the miter, fence and blade tilt.

Found one for free!
by: Stretch

I acquired a 113.27521 for free. I'm currently going through it, replacing the blade and belt and giving it a general tune up. As far as the quality goes, this thing is BEEFY! One HP motor coupled with cast all the way to the base makes this thing well worth its weight. Looking forward to starting the projects I have in mind.

Info on Craftsman Table Saw 113.29991
by: Anonymous

I own a Craftsman 113.29991 saw. I found it a thrift store and it looks and works great. I've replaced the bearings in the motor and arbor and given it a general going over. It's a rugged saw and fun to use but I'd love to find a better fence and T-square for it. Also I'd love to find wings that will bolt on. I'm glad there are other guys who have one of these and enjoy it although it's a heavy son of a gun. Any information such as part #s etc. would be appreciated.

Model 113.27520 table saw

Do you know if there is an adjustment for the blade. When at 0 degrees, the blade is still not at a 90 degree to the table.

Good useful saw
by: joewalbran

I have this saw, 11327520. 1950's aluminum box with 1957 Chevrolet-like polished areas. One HP motor. Beefy iron trunion. It is a good solid contractor's saw. I added a big off switch.

I do not trust accuracy of the fence and waste a lot of time measuring the blade to fence distance for parallel. I'd like a splitter.
Any suggestions?

I have this saw and am having a hard time finding information on it.
The rip fence is a little shaky but it runs great. I would like to find a splitter or guard that is compatible, and perhaps a new fence.
It is in great condition but only has one of the extensions, the other broke off.

Where should I begin finding out about restoring it. I am very new to this and simply can't afford a new "easy" saw. If it is worthwhile I would prefer to restore this one.
Thank you for your input.

10" Table Saw
by: Mike

Dan, Would you happen to have the manual for this saw? I have 113.27521 ( Restoring ) from my dad. Manuals appear to be gold for much of these old saws. milkman@webformixair.com Thanks.
