Delta 24" Scroll Saw

I have had this Delta scroll saw for several years and have never really used it. The patent numbers range from 1931 to 1937. I think the stand is Craftsman and not original to the saw. I also doubt if the motor is original. The cord to the light needs to be replaced. It uses pulleys with three belt settings, so I assume it has three speeds. It works fine but seems to have a problem with keeping the blade in the upper mechanism. It may be just me. I would like to sell this to someone who would really like to have it and am asking $200.00. I can be reached at 903-413-3265.

Scroll saw

It's a very nice scroll saw. I have one and I love it .Only thing is my parts are breaking and I have to order parts . But their small and not to expensive. And the table is original. Its built that .the reason the blade won't stay in or breaks is the wrong tension. You've got a good saw. I would rather have my vintage scroll saw tha a modern one.

Me too!

I have what appears to be an identical model including the somewhat frayed lamp cord. My stand looks (best I can tell from your picture) exactly like yours.

I also have this same Saw and have put new bearing seals, plunger spring, Delta stand and belt. It is no doubt the best and quitest running scroll saw I have ever used.

I just saw one exactly like it at a local yard sale. The guy said that it worked when he put it up. He offered it to me for $35. I am located in West Virginia, if one of you fellas would like me to purchase it for you, i would be glad to do so. You can then either come pick it up and pay me or you can pay the $35 plus whatever it costs to ship this beast. It looks like it weighs 300lbs. Anyway my email is sidriddle69@gmail.com if you would like me to look into it.

Im located right on the virginia-west virginia line in the southern part near Bluefield WV.

I have a 1939 model 1200 24 in scroll saw. I have replaced the motor and have the '39 catalog and most pages of the instruction manual. You are right, it is heavy! First $200 and picks it up and it goes! Bill 908-310-3429

Spectacular Delta Scroll Saw

I shop regularly at the local Habitat Restore. Suffering with an underpowered and too small Ryobi I jumped at the chance to get this old Delta Saw with the big throat for $75. It weighs a ton. I just found out that it is a model 1200. It runs perfect, has 4 step pulleys, a working air blower, the original motor and probably the belt. The pictures I've seen show a dark colored saw but mine is an off white. It looks original, and has the original stand.

I have one too

I have this exact model.
I think you are selling it too cheap, its an antique. Hold out for the right buyer
