Delta homecraft combi saw-4'' jointer
I just bought this combination saw-jointer from a neighbor garage sale. It is almost in working condition and I plan to restore it. From the serial numbers (saw-CF9397 and jointer-CF7486) it looks like a 1959 unit. I got some questions and would need some guidance for the restoration :
1- What is the model number ?
2- What is the original saw diameter ?
3- Where can I find the instruction and parts manuals ?
4- Is a table extension available and where could I find it ?
5- If not available, how can I fabricate and attach a table extension ?
6- How can I sharpen the jointer blades ? As is it gave a very rough finish on soft wood. Are blades still available ?
7- What is the speed of the saw and the jointer or the driving pulley diameters ?
Thanks for your help
Daniel
