This door plane may have been by my Great Grandfather before/around 1900
This door plane was among other tools from my grandfather Webb. My great-grandfather Webb worked as a furniture maker in Medford, Oregon in the late 1800s and early 1900s. He also made caskets and his job as an undertaker (or something very close to that as was apparently common in the 1800s.
I used the plane on a door in a Seattle, WA home in the mid 1970s and it worked well. Unfortunately, there are no markings on it which I could see.
I am hoping to find more information about it, who made it, where, when, and by whom it was made.
Jim
