Powermatic Planer Model 220 or 221 (not sure which) 8"x20"

I have a mostly rebuilt powermatic planer. The only left that I need are the 4 infeed hold down springs. Can anyone find these springs made new. Or the factory specs info so I can get new springs made? Any tips on what to do if I can't find a proper spring. Can I just try some springs that fit the bosses they set over and give it a whirl?
