Hi Phil : I hope this email reaches you and finds you in good health . As I rummaged through the internet , I happened upon your listing in old wood working tools . Mine is , what I think , a Boice Crane . It was given to me. Upon dismantling , the saw was found to be abused to the point that the upper axles had been pounded with a hammer . So much so that the axle needed shaving on a metal lather to straighten the axle out . I have photos and would like to email these to you . Restoration is near completion ; awaiting parts now . Perhaps I may have insight that may be of use to you
