8 1/2" disc sander

The bearings are in need of replacing.
Can't find any info about it.
I have the photo of all the abrasive
finishing machines, with the safty suggestions
which is quite unique. The sander is the
smallest of the machines. Wish I had the
owners manual. I purchased it along with
several other Delta/Rockwell machines
which did have their manuals.
Thanks for any insight.

Homecraft 8 1/2'' Disc Sander

No indication of the year this was posted, you probably already have your answer. Those Oilite-Bronze bushings are nothing special, measure them and go to a bearing supply house. Likely about $2 ea. You can find the manual at www.owwm.com. Just looked at it, as I also have that sander, and it contains no startling info. on its two pages. Keep the new bushing well oiled and that little sander will go on forever. If you look around over there you will see my sander, it is the orange stand sitting on a green barrel. [4-30-2009]
