Rockwell 1/2" spindle shaper 43-122

Looking for 3 wing steel shaper cutters wit a 1/2" bore All patterns. I can't find them anywhere They were small in diameter - 2" plus or minus.

Sears had them. Also the newer cutters are larger in diameter and won't go thru 3" table opening Don't want carbide as they're not good for solid wood

Steel 1/2" Shaper Cutters
by: EJ

I run an old Wells 1/2" shaper for sash work. I am fortunate to have purchased many Rockwell cutters before carbide became the rage. They too, have their use. However, I found a tool store that "Buys, sells, trades, repairs, New or used" tools and they had a bin of quality 1/2" cutters. I bought the lot for a very forgiving price. My suggestion is for one to look for the same in your area, look dumb as a post when you find them, and be happy you did. I live in Oregon.
