Mar 17, 2016 Contractor Series Spindle Shaper 2HP by: Paul L. I have this spindle shaper. Bought mine in 1996. It has and does work beautifully. Made back when Craftsman tools were top of the line. A great tool for making raised panel cabinet doors. The 2HP model is great for working oak or maple. If you have one of these, hold on to it. A comparable unit, in my opinion will cost you $1000 minimum. The new ones don't hold up. The manual can be downloaded for free online. No HTML's allowed so you'll have to look. A great machine. If you have one, cherish it.

May 15, 2012 shaper/craftman by: putnamandco@yahoo.com I have some parts for this model of shaper, everything but the legs and table, I modified it to take 1/2 router bits with shanks, and it still takes the ones that were sold with it. It is for sale. The motor is 2hp and reverseable. It all works great.

Sep 06, 2010 Have Older Craftsman Model 113 shaper by: Jack M. Looking for information on my shaper. It has a two horse motor and looks like maybe its from the fifties. I can't figure out how the fence goes as it has no apparent way to attach it. Am I missing a part? It came with many cutter heads some new still in the boxes. It has a half inch spindle. Feb 26, 2010 Price for your shaper by: Bill Andrea, I also have the same shaper. I just saw one on craigs list for $125. It was well used and because your's is basically new I would ask $250 plus $10 per bit for high speed steel and $25 per bit for Carbide.
